Our website will provide information about the local, state, and national Green Party. We meet on the first Saturday of each month in the Adult Meeting Room at the Penrose Library in downtown Colorado Springs from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon. Everyone who would like to help build the Green Party is invited to attend and participate.

The Green Party of the Pikes Peak Region endorses the Occupy Colorado Springs protests whose facebook page is at http://www.facebook.com/pages/Occupy-Colorado-Springs/215384808523910 and other occupy protests in the country.

Climate Change Video
For those of us who are already on the front lines of climate change’s worst impacts, we want you to know that you are not alone -- in fact, you are joined by a global movement that in many ways is stronger than ever.
For those of us who have not yet felt the harsh impacts of climate change, the video is a gripping wake-up call -- and a chance to reflect on the urgent need to stop this global disaster in motion. It’s abundantly clear that we’re on a path that is incompatible with a sustainable future, and the first step to changing that path is to connect the dots.

Your First Vote Can Be Today
Your voter registration is a vote -- either for accepting the current limited choice -- corporate Dem or a corporate Republican or a vote for an additional choice. Make your voter registration a record that you want candidates with Green Values and Green commitments. Build a third choice into the system. Change your voter registration to the Green Party. It's time to stop voting for the lesser of two evils. You still get evil!
Stay Independent and you say nothing about what you are for. Stay registered Democrat or Republican and you let them take your vote for granted.
Show your fellow Colorado Voters that the Green Party has enough support to win! Registration numbers are public record. Grow the Green Party Registration if only to register your values and your objection to the current so called Democracy.
Your tax money has been committed by both the D's and R's to deeds that shame us as a people. Our leaders have lied or acquiesced to lies for decades. Their votes are bought and paid for and they have sided with the top 1% in a class war that has milked America only for their benefit.
Republicans would shrink and ultimately eliminate entitlements that have been a part of American life for 70 years.
Democrats will not stand for change that threatens their corporate sponsors.
Why else did we get the the compromised health insurance bill when single payer is favored by a large majority? Why else would they appoint Wall Street gamblers to fix those gambler's bad debts and blame the home buyers rather than the bandits who created the sub-prime game? Why else has it become impossible to raise the tax obligation of those rich to levels that existed even under President Reagan?
Greens care for the future. They understand the critical need for change!
